About the Starcrest Skipper

One of the people Bungee meets on her voyage is the Starcrest Skipper who is, of course, Ned McIntosh, as most sailors know. Ned and his brother, the late Bud McIntosh, are legendary in the boat building and sailing world.

Above is one of Peter Dudley's watercolors in Bungee's Voyage, showing Starcrest, Ned McIntosh's beloved wooden boat which has been sailing out of Portsmouth Harbor for almost half a century.
